ATC Production of "[title of show]"

I had the extreme privilege of seeing a gem of a show tonight - [title of show].  Even better, I had the opportunity to sit across the aisle from 2 gentlemen that wrote the musical and then listen to a post show discussion with 3 of the 6 originators and the Artistic Director of Arizona Theater Company.  It was such a treat.  It only plays through this weekend - GO!  If not, Arizona Theatre Company never disappoints.  If you get a chance to catch any of their shows, it will be well worth your time.

Imagine two hyper-talented young songwriters in New York trying to write a new musical about two hyper-talented young songwriters in New York trying to write a new musical?! That’s [title of show], the deliciously smart and tuneful musical that wowed Broadway audiences and critics last fall. It’s a dizzy, unpredictable, and uproarious tongue-in-cheek musical about show business and making one’s dreams come true. Follow Jeff, Hunter, Heidi and Susan as they negotiate a musical theatre obstacle course of finding backers, casting singers, and making it to Broadway. Fresh, funny and playful, [title of show] is a Cinderella tale set to music about the journey from the unemployment line to the Great White Way. "Delectable entertainment! Hilarious! A fresh new musical worth cheering!" -- The New York Times.Staged by the same team that brought you the recent smash hit Hair, [title of show] will be directed by David Ira Goldstein with musical staging by Patti Wilcox and musical direction by Christopher McGovern.
