Happy Halloween

I love holidays. I finally got my pumpkin carved last night and roasted pumpkin seeds. I've been nibbling on them all day. My pumpkin carving techniques could use some work. Let's just say, I don't expect to win any awards this time around!

Tonight Josh and I are going to a Halloween party...parts of our costumes are pictured below. We are going to be masqueraders. Isn't my butterfly mask beautiful? I love it! I've never been much to dress up for Halloween. This time of year always finds me wishing for a little one to dress up in a pea pod outfit or a batman toddler to walk around the neighborhood with. Someday......

Only 3 weeks until the Breast Cancer 3day. It is so hard to believe that it is already here and shortly after we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving! Yay Holidays!!! You still have time to donate!

Runway 08 Toronto

This was such a special event. Pictures are up on the John Bead Website - GO HERE to see all of the lovely Czech jewelry from the runway. Boy, Lisa & I had our hands full...we were BUSY!

With Lisa & I, this is Mike John, owner of John Bead and his mother...who is an active participant at the store. She was very sweet.

This was my favorite. The whole top of the piece she is carrying is sparkly Czech beads. Very pretty!
And this design was over the top nice.

VP debate tonight

I won't be missing it and neither should you! Quality leadership is needed in this country and the best way to elect quality leadership is to have everyone in our country tune in, get to know the candidates, pick the ticket that is just right for you and then vote! I have no doubt that the more people who get out and vote, the more likely we are to choose the right people to run our country.

If you are not currently registered to vote, you only have a few more days to register in most states. GO HERE to learn about registering.

And last but not least, most states need poll workers to assist in making the voting process clean, easy and accurate. If you are able to help, google and find out how to sign up in your state. I will be volunteering here in AZ. GO HERE to sign up to be a poll worker in AZ.
